WHITE OAK
White Oak is a home shaped by weight, stillness, and reverence, a contemporary relic rooted in the enduring language of Egyptian architecture. Designed through the lens of permanence, this residence invites light, form, and material to speak quietly but profoundly.
Here, clean lines are softened by elemental textures. White oak brings a natural warmth throughout the interiors, while Egyptian travertine, sourced and selected by SAMAHA, grounds the floors in quiet elegance. In the kitchen and primary bath, Arabescato Rosa marble adds subtle movement and tonal depth, its veining a soft echo of nature’s artistry. These materials were chosen for how they age, how they patina, and how they remind us that great design doesn’t shout, it endures.
At the heart of the home is a layout defined by procession and purpose. Living spaces flow with intention, united by a single architectural rhythm that guides movement and encourages pause. The entry, great room, and kitchen are bound in harmony — not just for function, but to evoke something deeper: a sense of ceremony in the everyday.
A symbolic circular window marks the sun’s daily path, a nod to the solar alignments revered by ancient Egyptians. It’s positioned not for symmetry, but for meaning. Just as the obelisks once captured and honored the sun, this aperture filters light as a living gesture of time.
White Oak balances presence with peace. A spa-like primary suite offers sanctuary, while a skylit upper-level retreat frames moments of quiet reflection. Shoji-inspired screens, satin nickel fixtures, and sculptural lighting ground the space in tactile elegance.
At SAMAHA, we design for permanence. White Oak reflects that ethos, where timeless materials, symbolic forms, and lived warmth come together to create more than a home. It’s a place to dwell, remember, and endure.
