By stripping away unnecessary elements, we allowed this ranch-style home to embrace its true identity while seamlessly blending contemporary and rustic influences.

Every detail was chosen with intention. Shou Sugi Ban siding provides durability and fire resistance while creating a striking visual contrast. Unlacquered brass and handmade Moroccan tiles add texture and warmth, aging gracefully over time. Raising low ceilings transformed the interior into an open, welcoming space, while a custom fireplace and farmhouse-style kitchen elevated both style and practicality.

Challenges became opportunities for innovation. To counteract noise from a busy street, we implemented sound-deadening materials, turning the backyard into a serene retreat. Structural limitations inspired creative solutions, from surgical ceiling adjustments to an internal flow connections that enhanced the home’s functionality.
